Workshop & Screening
One Shot Workshop / One Shot Screening
A collaboration with the National Zoological Gardens and The Graceland School of Film and Broadcast Media.
A One Shot Film is a maximum of 94 seconds. It is shot on a cell phone, with no cuts and no post production. The One Shot initiative provides Corporate Social Responsibility sponsored film workshops to underprivileged communities. Everyone is welcome to come and make a One Shot film with us. One Shot Films is a division of the iMPAC Film festival, a non-profit organisation in collaboration with the Open Window School of Film Arts.
A collaboration with the National Zoological Gardens and The Graceland School of Film and Broadcast Media, allows iMPAC to host a One-Shot Film workshop, at the Pretoria Zoo. Participants from previously disadvantaged backgrounds will be initiated into the joys of one-minute cell phone shot films, with no cuts and no post-production. The Graceland School predominantly caters for ex-offenders, unemployed women and people with disabilities.
