4th iMPAC FESTIVAL | OPEN WINDOW CAMPUS, JOHN VORSTER DRIVE, SOUTHDOWNS, IRENE
iMPAC is a festival celebrating the moving image and is South Africa’s premiere forum for independent filmmakers and film artists exploring possibilities in sight-sound expression. This year’s festival engages audiences with remarkable, innovative and provocative experiences across all audio-visual genres including experimental, animation, documentary, fiction, and performance-based works. We bring you cutting edge South African short films, a South American film focus, a puppet theatre premiere, counterculture animation features, the 2015 Cannes art film selection, a guerrilla film competition, narrative photography workshop, discussions, and a presentation by one of the world’s foremost SFX and character make-up artists.
The 4th iMPAC Festival takes place from 18th – 21st of September at the OPEN WINDOW CAMPUS at the end of John Vorster Drive in Southdowns, Irene.
